SO GOOD

Thank you for video! :)

I like this style and hope it can be downloaded

I mean - you can download the game directly from this page :)

I finally got my attempt in

Thank you for playing and big thanks for gameplay!

Body photo at the end - it's not real. This is an edited photo of mock-up scene from Queensland Police Museum.

I really wish those kinds of games tried to convey something else than family conflict. Like, you really think i'm gonna care about a family who's already dead while playing a online fps?

If someone appears trying to be someone i once knew i would just kill them (I know you meant it to be a curse or a ghost, but that's really cliche, it's the same old catridge creepypasta stuff).

The only pros i can say about this game is that at least you didn't do the flag mode like NPO and Connection Haunted (and the black shadow is unsettling, good idea)

Imo, the moment you add personal stuff about the main character life into the mmo/fps, you're breaking that immersion of "being alone", it turns out to be something beyond that, involving people around his life, and that is not what i'm expecting from a game with this idea

What would your ideal game with the premise of "playing an abandoned online game" be?

I think the most interesting is dealing with another actual player in game. Like, 1 or two that appear mostly never, but the fact that sometimes they're there is eerie. If you watched the vinensauce active worlds exploration video you know what i'm talking about. When it's so abandoned and you find someone you don't really know what to think out of it, so you may think it's a bot, a dev, a player, there are a lot of space for creativity in this premise.

Interesting idea, thanks for sharing.

that ending picture was not a real dead body right?

Of course it's not real. This is an edited photo from Tripadvisor about the Queensland Police Museum. LINK

That's EPIC

Thank you!

Great job, I really like these kind of games!

P.s.: I've found a way to explore outer zones of the map. There's a spot (see pic), right in front of your starting point, where you can jump across the fence and go behind the blue container that's behind your starting point. Once you're there, you can explore the out of reach portions of the map. Nothing particular, but I like it :)

Keep in mind, though: 1) once you've jumped the fence, you won't be able to go back to the play area, you'll have to restart the game to play it properly; 2) don't try to walk on the cyan-textured floors, you'll fall out of the map and you'll have to restart the game.

Happened to me, too. I solved by changing the resolution of the game to 1024x768.

(+1)

Yeah hah it helped changing it to anything from 1920x1080

This is really, really cool! I loved that you even referenced NPO on the page :D It's really cool seeing someone genuinely take a spin on your work and executing it so well. Keep up the good work <3

I enjoyed the game Piotr Rycabel! -

Something about an empty lobby.. seeing only 1 or 2 server rooms open always gives a good creepy vibes.

The story caught me off guard too!

Thank you for playing and I'm glad you liked it! Also - thanks a lot for a video!

How very original. Never seen this before.

At first glance, this might look like a No Players Online clone, but when you play it - you'll see the fundamental differences. There are no ghosts here, but a lot of brutality and shooting. I encourage you to play, you will not be disappointed 🖤

I was gonna give it a go - though it seems I'm the only one who's reported getting crashes? The game crashes as soon as I see the small msdos box begin loading. Any solutions?

Thank you! Try changing resolution to anything from 1920x1080. It should work best in 1280x720. Sorry for the problems, but that's the rendering specifics of this game. The image renders independently at 240p and apparently Unity doesn't like scaling it to all resolutions.

After lots of attempts, apparently it crashes at everything but 800x600, and it has to be fullscreen at that resolution too and not widescreen, Unfortuantely 720p and 1080p don't work or me as well. Oh well, this'll do.

Well Neco you could say that about everything these days. It is not like everything else you play is super original.

agreed :) also Horror really isn't that original anymore sadly :(

Its why I enjoy looking for hidden gems and unique ones when I can find them. My judgment on the game itself is reserved, not that I'm gonna say the game is bad without even playing it. Obvi

I thought it was a really cool game that takes a couple pages out of NPO's book while still having its own feel and creepiness for its own reasons! Worth a playthrough imo!
